Honor Community Health was excited to have a visit from Dr. Luis Padilla, the associate administrator for the health workforce at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). He also serves as the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) director. In addition, he also oversees the Department of Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education Program. Dr. Padilla’s visit was a significant event for our organization; it allowed us to showcase the success and impact of all Honor Community Health offers, especially our Family Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Padilla met with program participants, faculty, and community partners during his visit, gaining valuable insights into our Health Center’s unique aspects. This visit also served as a platform for sharing best practices, discussing challenges, and exploring opportunities for further collaboration and support.
