Regular dental screenings and cleanings are vital to our overall physical health, but for many of us proper dental care can also be one of the most difficult services to access. Honor Community Health has a mobile dental unit that services multiple locations in Oakland County, including 3 of our school health centers.
Our mobile unit is a brand new, state-of-the-art dentist office on wheels! The bus visits the Pontiac Middle School, Pontiac High School, and Waterford Durant High School once a month. It also travels to multiple other community organizations and schools throughout Oakland County.
The mobile unit is staffed with 1 or 2 dental hygienists and an administrative person/driver.
Services provided include routine cleanings and sealants. Honor Community Health accepts all insurances, and is able to assist with insurance enrollment if a person is uninsured. We also have a stationary dental clinic located in Pontiac.
