In 2021, Vance changed his life—and not just because he relocated to Michigan to be closer to his wife’s family (she and their two sons are the center of his world). This is also when he moved into the health IT field by joining Honor Community Health, a shift that has been exceptionally rewarding both professionally and personally.
Vance’s 22 years of experience in IT have primarily been within corporate IT, collaborating with global Managed Service Providers to support a diverse array of clients, both in New York City and internationally. Vance also has extensive experience in both systems and network engineering, where he was responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical infrastructure for various enterprise environments. His expertise includes infrastructure, systems management, and client-focused solutions across multiple industries.
Now, as Chief Information Officer at Honor Community Health, Vance is able to leverage his technical background in a mission-driven environment that directly impacts people’s lives—moving into health IT has let him find his true calling, and he couldn’t be happier about it.
