Even when Jeff isn’t golfing, he’s hitting drives across the field—during a recent Michigan Department of Health and Human Services School-Based Health Center site survey, all 9 of Jeff’s sites scored at or above a 90% compliance rate (the site survey staff informed Jeff that his sites received the best scores in the state of Michigan). Jeff’s leadership not only resulted in building a remote homeless team consisting of a physician assistant, homeless coordinator, outreach specialist, and medical assistant, but an increase in the availability of its services, from 4 to 24 hours per week. And, with Jeff’s help, Honor Community Health was awarded the Webster Child & Adolescent Health Center grant to provide integrated primary care to youth ages 10 to 21 in the city of Pontiac.
Responsible for grant and contract development, community outreach services, school-based integrated care, homeless programs, and mental health programs in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Jeff is a visionary and analytical thinker when it comes to pioneering these programs and focusing on evidence-based outcomes. In both his current and past roles, Jeff has planned, developed, and successfully opened 9 integrated primary care health clinics and 12 mental health sites as part of the school-based health program. His goal as Chief Community Services Officer is to advance Honor Community Health’s mission, vision, and goals related to all new grant and contract development and the implementation of existing programs and initiatives.
