Deb Brinson

Deb has two collections of records: the musical kind (she’s an avid collector), and the kind that comes with 30 years of healthcare management experience. Just in the last 8 years of her role as Chief Executive Officer of Honor Community Health (rebranded from the Oakland Integrated Healthcare Network by Deb herself), Deb has established the organization as a Federally Qualified Health Center and patient-centered medical home, quadrupled the number of centers from 4 to 16, and instituted integrated primary, dental, behavioral, and school-based healthcare.

Deb loves her work at Honor Community Health because of its mission, the chance to interact with patients, and the wide range of challenges (which she always rises to meet). She is a passionate advocate for families, ensuring that the health and wellness needs of all patients are addressed with dedication and care.

When she’s done setting records for Honor Community Health, Deb moves to listening to her other record collection with her dog, Lily, her spouse, and her three children.
