Amanda May

Amanda is a licensed clinical social worker who has spent her career leading teams in the outpatient behavioral health setting. Prior to working with Honor Community Health, Amanda served as the executive director of Pasadena Villa, a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient program in Michigan. Earlier in her career, Amanda directed Collaborative Care operations at Henry Ford Health, partnering with a multidisciplinary team to launch the system’s first Collaborative Care program and expand it to 52 primary care, pediatrics, and women’s health clinics. She also served as Director of Training for the MI Mind CQI, a statewide quality improvement initiative that equipped primary care and behavioral health providers with suicide prevention training. In addition to her leadership in clinical operations, Amanda is passionate about supporting clients experiencing grief, anxiety, trauma, and mood disorders. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan. Her advanced training includes coursework at the Beck Institute, and she was a featured speaker at the 2023 American Hospital Association Leadership Summit.
