New facility will offer primary care services, behavioral health services including substance use disorder treatment, maternal health care and more
PONTIAC, Mich.–(Feb. 11, 2026)–Honor Community Health, Oakland County’s largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), today thanked Sen. Elissa Slotkin for securing federal funds that will be used to fully transform the Philip Henry Center, Honor’s new medical center on Woodward Avenue in Pontiac.
The Philip Henry Center, located at 48980 Woodward Avenue, has been opening up its doors to the community in stages. In 2025, the building welcomed the Oakland 360 Care Center, a partnership between Honor, Oakland County Health Department, Oakland County Health Network, and OLHSA.
The Congressionally Directed Spending grant will finish the transformation of the building into a modern, comprehensive medical center that will serve more than 10,000 patients annually with over 40,000 projected visits in the first full year of operations.
Once completed, the renovated facility will offer:
- Expanded primary care services for All including Medicaid, Medicare, and uninsured individuals
- Increased access to substance use disorder treatment services to address growing community needs
- Enhanced maternal health services
- Dedicated space supporting the expansion of Honor’s Family Medicine Residency Program, Michigan’s first FQHC-based Teaching Health Center residency program
- A fully restored community gymnasium which will become a true hub of health and connection

The project received letters of support from key partners including Oakland County Health and Human Services, CNS Healthcare, the Michigan Primary Care Association, Medical Network One, and the Pontiac City Council.
The facility is expected to be complete by the summer of 2027.
