Board Chair Philip Henry Nominated for “Men of Excellence” Award by Michigan Chronicle

Honor Community Health Board Chair Philip Henry has been recognized for a prestigious award by the Michigan Chronicle.

The Michigan Chronicle Men of Excellence Awards recognizes local African-American men who inspire others through their vision, leadership, exceptional achievements, and participation in community service. Philip will receive the award on August 2nd at the Motor City Casino in Detroit.

Philip Henry is the Community Development Relationship Manager at Fifth Third Bank. He assists in managing the bank’s Community Reinvestment Act efforts, which includes, charitable giving, economic development for underserved communities, and lending in urban and rural markets. He received the MPCA Award for Board Member of the Year in 2017 for his role as chair for Honor Community Health.
