What is Telehealth?

Telehealth, also known as virtual visits or video visits, are a way for patients and clinicians to connect without the patient needing to come into the office for care. Using our platform, doxy.me, our clinicians can connect with patients wherever they are.

How to Access Telehealth Services:

Honor Community Health offers telehealth appointments for current patients, so you can see your doctor from home, work, or anywhere you have a phone or internet connection.

How It Works:

Step 1: Schedule Your Appointment

  • If you’ve already had an in-person visit, you can schedule a virtual visit by:
    • Calling our main line at (248)724-7600, or
    • Speaking with staff at your clinic

Step 2: Get Your Visit Link

  • Once your appointment is scheduled, you’ll receive a text and/or email with:
    • The date and time of your visit
    • A secure link to complete any required intake forms before your appointment
    • A secure link to join your telehealth appointment (via Doxy.me)

Step 3: What You Need For Your Telehealth Appointment

  • A phone, tablet, or computer
  • A strong internet connection (for video visits)
  • A quiet, private space

Step 4: Join Your Visit

  • On the day of your appointment:
    • Click the visit link a few minutes before your scheduled time
    • You’ll enter a virtual lobby where our staff will check you in and help you get ready while you wait for your clinician to join
